Partner

Rami is a Partner in HFW's Dubai office specialising in UAE general litigation. He represents local and international clients in commercial, civil, banking and criminal litigation, attachment of assets and enforcement of local and international arbitral awards, and foreign judgments.

Rami's practice extends to handling complex commodities and shipping disputes involving arrest of vessels, both domestically and regionally. He acts for port operators, shipowners, leading bunker suppliers and operators in relation to cargo claims, charterparties disputes, criminal shipping disputes and collision.

Prior to joining HFW in 2014, Rami worked for a UAE based law firm where he was involved in civil, commercial, criminal, and shipping cases.

Earlier in his career Rami practised with a reputable Jordanian law firm working primarily for the litigation department. He has been handling all types of litigation including matters involving civil litigation, and commercial and criminal disputes. He has appeared before all levels of Jordanian Courts as an advocate and drafted pleadings for various disputes.

Rami has been admitted to the Jordanian Bar Association since 2008.
