Managing Partner of BGI Law Madrid

In 2000 Jorge joined BGI Law firm, as a lawyer, only to later be appointed as partner and Managing Director of the Madrid office in 2006. He has oriented his activity towards the civil and commercial area, gaining extensive experience in international transactions based on the trade sector, private equity and real estate law.

Jorge, has participated actively in the creation of corporate structures, family office consultancy and the implementation of foreign companies in Spain through the creation of joint ventures, partnerships etc.

Likewise, Jorge has shaped the legal structure of several ETVE companies (tax-advantaged companies similar as a holding model under the Spanish law) within the Spanish territory and is also member of the board of multiple investment companies with foreign capital.

In the regulatory compliance consultancy field, Jorge has been appointed member of the Executive Committee and Compliance Officer of several subsidiaries of multinational companies in Spain and regularly advises said companies on civil and commercial matters. In addition, Jorge is member of the board of the Compliance Research Center of ISDE Law Business School, an investigative advisory board.

Furthermore, Jorge is also a Commercial Law Professor and member of the Law Degree Evaluation Board at ISDE Law Business School, one of the most prestigious Law universities in Madrid.

Jorge regularly collaborates with several Spanish media outlets and has been referred by many reputed lawyers as a reference in the commercial law sector in Spain.
