Mohammed Alsuwaidi is Founding and Managing Partner of Alsuwaidi & Company. Prior to founding Alsuwaidi & Company, Mohammed was the Head of Legal at Emirates General Petroleum Corporation. Over the past two decades, Mohammed has carved an enviable arbitration practice, supporting reputable names in the GCC and beyond.

Mohammed’s career is firmly rooted in the UAE. He is a prominent and learned professional in UAE law and has been called upon as a UAE law expert on numerous international arbitrations. To date, he has been appointed as an arbitrator on more than 70 arbitrations.

His commitment to the legal industry has been strong throughout his career. He was Vice Chairman of the Jurist Association in the UAE, was President of the Organization of Young Arab Lawyers, Deputy Chairman of the UAE Jurists Association and a former Board Member of the Human Rights Association in the UAE.

Today,  Mohammed holds numerous memberships with established, international arbitration associations, and he is a licensed arbitrator in the International Islamic Centre for Reconciliation and Arbitration. He is highly networked and holds various offices which include, Vice President of Dubai Swiss Business Council, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of Ajman Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (Ajman Chamber of Commerce).

Mohammed  holds a Masters of Laws (LLM) from Boston University; and a  Bachelors of Law (LLB) from the UAE University.
