David is partner in the Family Department and specialises in care work. He started his legal career in 1987 and has specialised in family work since 2001 having practiced in the areas of criminal defence and civil litigation.

He is a member of the Law Society’s specialist Children Panel and Family Law Panel and undertakes a lot of work on behalf of children, either directly or through a court appointed guardian.

David also represents parents and other carers within care proceedings and private law disputes. He undertakes a lot of his own advocacy to ensure constancy for his clients.
