Legal Executive in the Elder Client Team within the Private Client Department

Career

Iain is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and joined the firm in 1982 (when it was Hooper & Wollen) having previously worked with a local law firm in Totnes.

Iain is part of our Elder Client Team within the Private Client Department managing clients personal affairs under Powers of Attorney and deputyships, creating Lasting Powers of Attorney, and in addition he deals with tax affairs (income tax, CGT, self-employment tax).

Personal

Iain’s main interest away from work is in local theatre, where they are heavily involved as a performer and as a director, staging major musicals and pantomimes at various local venues including the Princess Theatre. Iain is also the South Devon representative for the National Operatic and Dramatic Association and Secretary of both Toads Stage Musical Co and Paignton Pantomime Productions.
