Career

Dorota Płoskowicz, Partner and Director of the Warsaw office of the PETERKA & PARTNERS is also the Co-Leader of the M&A Practice (along with Agnieszka Siwińska) in the CEE region for all of the offices of the firm. Their skills allow them to advise on the most crucial and problematic matters. They both have vast experience in advising foreign and domestic corporations and private equity funds on acquiring Polish-based businesses.

Dorota has significant experience in leading and supervising mergers and acquisitions projects. Due to her involvement in the internal development of the firm, Dorota became Partner, Director for Poland in 2015. She advised on many acquisitions of Polish companies and enterprises by foreign investors, including conducting legal due diligence, negotiating contractual documents and notifying planned acquisitions to the Antimonopoly Office. She successfully conducted several mergers and restructuring processes. In 2022, Dorota advised on many important transactions, including Assisi Pet Care, Renault Retail Group, a division of Falck Medycyna and the subsequent sale of shares in the newly established company to recognised Polish insurance company and a very complicated acquisition of the enterprise of Tvilum Poland by Steens Group within restructuring procedures.
