Svetlana is involved in the litigation field where she handles various court proceedings before civil and administrative courts, including tax disputes. In addition, she provides ongoing support to companies on a variety of commercial, tax and administrative law matters and she has actively participated in several M&A projects. Svetlana is a member of the firm`s tax and litigation and insolvency practices. Among other areas, Svetlana has experience with insolvency and enforcement proceedings, pharmaceuticals and labour law issues. Svetlana was appointed a member of the Local Management Board in Sofia in 2018; she co-manages the Bulgarian PETERKA & PARTNERS office as Deputy Director for Bulgaria. Svetlana is also the Leader of the Turkish Desk at PETERKA & PARTNERS. She is a contributing author to Central Europe Pharma News published by PMR Ltd. Sp. z o.o., two of her articles were: “Amendments to Medicinal Products in the Human Medicine Act affecting the Export of Medicines from Bulgaria“ and “Socially Important Health Reforms Adopted Through Amendments to the Health Insurance Act”. Svetlana is registered as a mediator with the United Register of Mediators at the Ministry of Justice in Bulgaria.
