Partner, Leader of Intellectual Property

Hynek has been with the firm since its establishment and became a Partner in 2001.

He is the Leader of the Intellectual Property practice at PETERKA & PARTNERS, focusing mainly on litigations in this area.

Hynek focuses mainly on litigation and arbitration, banking and finance (mainly export financing), and corporate and public contracts (especially in regards to intellectual property). His wide experience across multiple areas of law and business sectors over the course of his twenty years of practice throughout Central and Eastern Europe enables him to hand both domestic and cross-border transactional and litigation matters efficiently.

He has acted as a counsel in arbitrations under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, Vienna International Arbitration Centre and the Arbitration Court attached to the Arbitration Court attached to the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.

In the area of intellectual property, Hynek advises and represents clients on all aspects of intellectual property creation, protection, exploitation, and the enforcement of clients’ intellectual property rights and defence against third parties’ intellectual property-based claims, and focuses especially on intellectual property related litigations.
