Yuliia advises foreign and multinational businesses on various corporate, intellectual property, commercial, regulatory, and labour matters. With her wide-ranging expertise, she supports clients from the moment of the setting-up of their legal presences (in particular, subsidiaries) in Ukraine to dealing with complex M&A, liquidation, and cross-border transaction issues. Yuliia also has solid experience in litigation, including insolvency proceedings. Her portfolio includes legal advisory to leading European and American companies such as Accsys, Atlas Copco, Begoma Spedition Aktiebolag, Konica Minolta, Mammoet, TCCM, World Courier, 3Dees Industries s.r.o., etc.

Yuliia is the Leader of the Law of Information Technologies practice at PETERKA & PARTNERS. She advises clients from the IT sector on the legal needs of their specific industry, including issues related to the practical aspects of applying the new preferential tax regime for the IT industry in Ukraine, gig contracts being newly-developed Ukrainian legal construction for IT sector, and other issues.

Yuliia handles various intellectual property projects, such as assisting foreign IT companies with structuring their intellectual property issues related to Ukraine, advising clients regarding the protection of their intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, etc.), and elaborating protection strategies in case of infringement. She is also experienced in supporting clients with challenging trademark registrations and combatting counterfeit goods.
