Career

Dag has worked for more than 10 years in leading law firms in Poland and the U.K., including Herbert Smith, Schoenherr, Gleiss Lutz and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Moreover, prior to joining BSJP he has managed for five years a boutique business law firm specializing in delivering transactional and day to day legal advice to nordic corporations active on the Polish market. He specializes in corporate law, commercial and contract law, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He has also a significant experience in intellectual property law, energy law, environmental law and capital markets. He successfully advises foreign and domestic clients on their daily business matters as well as on domestic and cross-border restructurings and takeovers. Dag's experience covers in particular foreign investments in Poland, including set up of companies and partnerships, investments in special economic zones and acquisition of assets or shares in functioning businesses. Having lived in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Italy, the Netherlands, the U.S. and the U.K., Dag has gained a unique international background enabling him to understand every aspect not only of the legal issues but also of any cultural differences faced by foreign investors in Poland.

He is a member of the Warsaw Chamber of Legal Counsels since 2006 and a member of the management board of the Swedish Business Club, the Swedish section of the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce.

Education

After graduating with honours in law from the University of Warsaw, he earned an LL.M. degree in European Business Law from the Pallas-Consortium in Amsterdam. He has also completed the Center for American Law Studies of the University of Florida Levin College of Law and the Center for Italian and European Law Studies of the University of Catania held at the Warsaw University Faculty of Law and Administration.
