Career

He worked for the law firm Pavia e Ansaldo from 1990 to 1999, becoming a partner in 1996. From 1999 to 2007 he was partner head of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s Italian Intellectual Property and Information Technology department. He was the co-founder of the firm in 2007, which in 2013 welcomed as new partner, Mr. Ortu and became Orsingher Ortu – Avvocati Associati.

He has many years of experience in assisting Italian and foreign clients on a broad range of matters pertaining to intellectual and industrial property, information technology, unfair competition, advertising, Internet and e-commerce, both in the contentious and non-contentious spheres. He is often called upon by his clients – market leaders or important companies – to handle the IP aspects of complex corporate and financial transactions.
