Career

After originally training as a nurse, Gill graduated from Oxford Brookes University with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1994 and after completing her training at Alexander Harris Solicitors, she qualified as a solicitor in 1997. Gill joined the Clinical Negligence team here at Hugh James in 2016 and was promoted to Partner two years later.

Memberships

Specialist AvMA Clinical Negligence Panel; the Human Rights Lawyers Association; and a Senior Litigator in the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). She is a member of the Multi-Professional Advisory Panel of the mother and baby charity Babylifeline.

Lesley Herbertson‘s varied caseload consists of major birth injuries resulting in cerebral palsy, in addition to matters involving chronic pain and gynaecological surgical injuries. Nina Roland is now a consultant with the firm.
