Matthias Steyrer studied law in Vienna and London (King's College), as well as economics in Vienna. He began his professional career in 2001 at a renowned Viennese law firm, where he worked as a lawyer and partner until 2007. He then worked for several years as general secretary and head of legal departments in national and international financial institutions. He has been working as an independent lawyer again for several years and joined the Weinrauch Rechtsanwälte team in 2021. Supported by this experience and an MBA, he is characterized in particular by his practical approach to the issues of national and international clients.

His practice focuses on corporate and company law, mergers & acquisitions, real estate and construction law, tenancy and residential law, banking and finance law and compliance.

Matthias Steyrer advises domestic and foreign companies, investors and financial institutions on M&A, finance and real estate transactions. He also specializes in compliance and banking regulatory law.
