Family

Emma Wakeling was called to the English and Welsh Bar in 2009 and was called as an Advocate of The Royal Court of Jersey in 2012.

Emma specialises in family and criminal law and, whilst maintaining an interest particularly in criminal advocacy, leads the Family Team at BCR Law.  In this role she advises on a wide range of family work, including divorce and financial matters and on issues involving children, including Public Law proceedings. Emma is accredited to the Children Panel and is able to represent parents and children. She is also a member of Resolution.

Emma primarily works with David Benest, Alison Brown and Tara Lee.

Emma was made a partner in December 2018.
