Gokhan Enkur (Partner) is an experienced corporate lawyer specialised in the fields of M&A and private equity with a primary focus on regulated industries including insurance and energy law. Throughout his career, Gökhan has advised various multi-national companies with respect to their transactions and investments in Turkey and abroad. He has worked in a top tier London based international law firm, Denton Wilde Sapte (now named Dentons) for nearly a decade and co-founded PAE Law Office with a group of senior lawyers leaving from the same international law firm. Gokhan was involved in a multitude of highly sophisticated cross-border transactions. In addition to his wide-ranging expertise in corporate and commercial law, Gökhan is particularly focused on insurance law, corporate reorganisations, private equity and joint ventures. During his career, Gökhan was seconded to two of the world's largest multinational corporations, namely Shell and Cigna. For the former, Gokhan's role was to support Shell in the post-completion phase of a statutory spin-off and for the latter, he has advised Cigna with respect to its first entry and expansion in the Turkish insurance and pension markets. Gokhan has been ranked by Legal 500 as a recommended lawyer in the fields of corporate and M&A, insurance, corporate restructurings and energy.
