Kamshat has been working in the intellectual property field since 2018, specializing in handling all national applications for both patents and trademarks. Her expertise covers the full range of services, from filing and renewals to opposition proceedings.

In 2022–2023, Kamshat expanded her practice to include litigation related to intellectual property rights protection. In addition, Kamshat has actively worked with the Justice Departments of the cities of Semey, Astana, Almaty, and Atyrau on identifying and preventing the circulation of counterfeit goods. As part of this work, she was responsible for drafting requests for inspections, conducting market monitoring to detect counterfeit products, and collaborating with law enforcement and regulatory authorities. Additionally, she participated in inspections carried out by the Justice Departments and was involved in court proceedings related to the protection of intellectual property rights and the suppression of unauthorized use of IP assets.

Also, she actively manages the inclusion of trademarks in Kazakhstan’s Customs Register, ensuring enforcement against counterfeit goods. This process includes filing applications, monitoring market activity, and renewing customs recordation to extend trademark protection. She collaborates closely with customs authorities to suspend goods containing intellectual property infringements and provides strategic recommendations to rights holders.
