Laurent Verhavert is partner in our Corporate and M&A practice. He specialises in M&A transactions, company restructurings, and corporate law matters, including corporate real estate transactions.

Laurent has a specific expertise in private equity and venture capital, including fundraising and financing matters. He notably advises biotech companies regarding corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.

He joined Strelia in January 2013 as part of its founding team. Before that, he was an associate in the Corporate & M&A department at Stibbe.

Laurent Verhavert was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2008.

Laurent obtained a law degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) in 2007 and studied at the Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB) in the framework of the Erasmus Exchange Program.
