Career

Aikaterini Besini was born in Athens in 1988. She is an advocate, member of the Athens Bar Association since April 2014, licensed to practice before the Supreme Court. She joined our law firm in 2014. She studied at the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which she graduated in 2011 (grade “Very Good”). She is also holder of a postgraduate degree in tax law. Alongside with her studies, she worked in an Athens law firm specialized in tax law. As a trainee lawyer, she worked at the legal department of the “National Bank of Greece”.

Aikaterini specializes in Tax Law and has acquired significant experience of 10 years in the tax legislative framework applicable in Greece, as well as the OECD's principles and guidelines. In particular, she has expertise in individual and private client taxation (tax residence, gift and inheritance issues, tax treatment of trusts, tax shipping, taxation of stock market transactions, real estate, alternative taxation) and has a proven track record in delivering comprehensive tax planning, compliance and advisory services. She is adept at managing complex tax issues for high-net-worth individuals, ensuring optimal tax efficiency and she represents clients (individuals and legal persons) before Administrative Courts.
