Nicolas has been a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2002.

He assists and represents a national and international clientele in procedures involving technology and information law.

Besides issues concerning the protection of personal data, Nicolas treats various matters such as IT contracts, outsourcing, software licenses, e-commerce, telecommunication and internet regulations.

He is the author of various publications concerning IT, intellectual property and privacy protection legislation. He is a regular contributor of the legal magazine Auteurs & Médias and the financial and economic weekly magazine Trends-Tendances. He is also assistant Media Law at the Language, Translation and Communication Department of the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Nicolas holds a licentiate in law from the Université Catholique de Louvain (2001) as well as a an additional licentiate in Intellectual property law from the Katholieke Universiteit van Brussel (2006).
