Andrew’s key specialisms are in betting & gaming, liquor licensing and regulatory law. He has over 30 years’ experience in the field, including five years as in-house counsel at the Rank Group.

Andrew advises on all aspects of the UK’s gambling licensing regime and assists clients with their applications to the UK Gambling Commission for both remote and non-remote operating licences and premises licences.

He also advises on exempt forms of gambling, including land-based entitlements, lotteries, prize competitions and free draws.

Andrew’s expertise extends to assisting clients with a variety of related regulatory requirements, including GDPR, responsible marketing and compliance with advertising codes. He applies his operational experience, gained in-house at the Rank Group, in advising on all aspects of gambling regulation, including anti money laundering and social responsibility requirements, as well as compliance with the Gambling Commission’s constantly evolving licence conditions and codes of practice.
