Career

Kevin is a Senior Associate Solicitor at Irwin Mitchell, specialising in claims relating to negligent medical treatment.

He is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme and an Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) Accredited Senior Litigator.

He handles cases across the entire field of medicine, from minor orthopaedic injuries through to stroke and birth injury claims. In addition, he undertakes representation of families at Inquests.

During Kevin's career, he has recovered millions of pounds in compensation for clients. He has been involved with high profile cases such as the Alder Hey organ retention litigation and Stepping Hill insulin contamination cases.

Kevin also personally conducted the first Article 2 Human Rights inquest in North Wales, which concerned a patient suicide.

He has contributed on behalf of Claimants and patient bodies in the media and has featured on Granada Reports, BBC Midlands Today, BBC Radio Wales and ITV Calendar News.

Kevin has a particular interest in cases relating to fatalities, oral cancer, surgical negligence and spinal injuries.
