In September 2014 Virginia (Ginny) joined Irwin Mitchell as a partner and head of the workplace injury team in Bristol, bringing with her the asbestos team from Lyons Davidson. Ginny is a specialist solicitor with over 20 years’ experience in personal injury and is dual qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Canada. She has recovered millions of pounds of compensation for asbestos claimants and their families. She often speaks at conferences and in 2013 chaired a groundbreaking conference on inquests and post-mortems in mesothelioma deaths. Ginny is named on the Mesothelioma UK National Panel of Solicitors specialising in mesothelioma claims and often speaks at and chairs conferences.
