Adrian has considerable experience in the real estate sector, advising both public and private sector organisations in project strategy and the implementation of portfolio and business change management from a legal perspective.

Career

Central Government – Adrian was appointed to the Government Board overseeing the implementation of the reports and recommendations of Sir Michael Lyons to re-engineer government business and relocate 20,000 civil servants from London and the South-East and the subsequent realisation of £15bn of public assets London & Associated Properties plc – working extensively with this client throughout his career, Adrian has helped the client achieve investment and asset management goals for 30 years in the retail sector, including the acquisition and disposal of key shopping centres and its asset management strategy within England and Scotland Smith & Nephew plc – Adrian has led this relationship for 20 years, overseeing the rationalisation of the real estate portfolio and helping the company use its real estate portfolio to add value to its business operations, most recently in relation to its consolidation and relocation of staff and operations from current sites to a bespoke new hub and its London HQ Gerald Eve – Adrian led the team to help the client relocate and consolidate its London HQ as well as helping the firm on various asset management needs KPMG – Adrian led the team helping the client with its day to day portfolio asset management requirements in England and Scotland from new offices to re-locations to lease renewals Westminster Government – Adrian has acted on acquisitions, disposals and asset management requirements for several government departments including for Defra, HM Prison Service, and the Parliamentary Estates Directorate. Royal Mail – Adrian led the relationship with Royal Mail for a number of years, helping the company to rationalise its portfolio at a time of great change as it reduced its town centre portfolio in favour of out of town sorting office centres Concert plc – Adrian led this relationship for the AT&T and BT JV helping manage and develop its UK and international portfolio BT plc – Adrian oversaw the team helping BT to rationalise its unique portfolio in the UK from wind farms in Scotland to redundant tunnels underneath London, as well as its extensive office and operational portfolio Speedy Hire plc – Adrian helped the board to re-design its operational model to a modified hub and spoke design to enhance logistical efficiency
