Maria is an experienced and motivated tax lawyer/adviser. Skilled in Portuguese and international taxation, used to working with clients of different jurisdictions and lines of business. She has been based in Portugal (Lisbon) and provides legal advice not only to English speakers, but also to French and Spanish clients.

Maria provides tax advice on companies’ restructuring and real estate transactions, cross-border transactions, setting up of the clients’ activities in different jurisdictions and often represents clients in court (including arbitral court).

Maria often participates in training sessions, both internal and external.
