Yavuz commenced his tenure at GSG Attorneys at Law in 2008. Throughout his career, he actively contributed to numerous high-profile merger and acquisition endeavors involving prominent companies spanning various sectors, including energy, telecommunications, automotive, e-commerce, technology, manufacturing, chemicals, and logistics.

Yavuz speaks English fluently.

Yavuz is a member of the Columbia Law School Alumni Association, American Bar Association, The American Turkish Society, Istanbul University Alumni Association and Istanbul Bilgi University Alumni Association. Yavuz is registered to the Istanbul Bar Association.

After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Law, he attained a LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree from Columbia University. He also completed his master's degree in economic law at Bilgi University, Faculty of Law.
