Career
Senior lawyer managing partner of Kapolyi Law Firm, heading the Real Estate and Construction Law practice group as well as taking a leading role in advising high profile transactions. Under his leadership, Kapolyi Law Firm is able to serve its clients efficiently and with high quality, representing practical aspects in all areas of the real estate sector.
Representing and advising both domestic and foreign investors, developers and real estate funds, particularly regarding to office and hotel development investments and acquisitions of high value business properties and portfolios.
Sándor and his colleagues have unique experience referring to FIDIC and other construction contracts and also to design contracts for major developments.
He started his professional career in 1996. After the bar exam he worked , as an associated attorney and legal counsel of a commercial bank in Budapest between 1999-2001. Then he joined one of the leading international law firms, where he practiced in the M&A transaction group for more than five years and focused on transactional issues.
From 2007, he was a leading member of a primarily domestic private investor supporter Hungarian owned firm ,after which in 2010 he joined a Vienna based international law firm as a partner where he had worked for 7 and a half years. During this period, he led the Real Estate, Litigation and Regulatory/Energy Law practices and also actively participated in major transaction matters..
Looking for new challenges, he has joined Kapolyi Law Firm in the summer of 2017.

He speaks English fluently and German on an intermediate level.

He has been a member of the Budapest Bar Association from August 2001.
Education
Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the József Attila University of Szeged in 1996. He passed his bar exam in February 1999.
