Career

Elina initially joined the firm as a trainee. Following the successful completion of her training and her call to the Cyprus Bar, Elina has been an active member of the firm’s dispute resolution team. With a strong interest in civil litigation, her scope of work has been focused on commercial and corporate disputes. Elina has been exposed to a variety of contentious matters which involved complicated corporate structures and large-scale financial transactions, as well as corporate fraud proceedings with an international element.

Elina maintains a strong interest in shareholder disputes, multi-national insolvency proceedings and the protection of minority shareholders' rights.

Elina successfully completed the GDL Law Conversion Course, subsequent to which she obtained her LLB degree and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP Law School in London, having achieved excellent results. Before embarking upon her legal studies, Elina had obtained a BCs in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology, at which time she was actively involved in research being conducted at the high-security Broadmoor Hospital in Surrey.
