Alessandro D'Adda

Partner Angelo provides assistance in relation to corporate transactions of an extraordinary nature, also in the ambit of bankruptcy (and similar) procedures and special administration, and in relation to banking and finance and debt restructuring. Angelo also deals with international and EU law, devoting himself to the preparation of opinions and contracts. Since 2006, Angelo is a researcher in international law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pavia, where he teaches International Law and European Information Law.  
Camilla Ferrari
PartnerCamilla  deals mainly with civil and commercial law, assisting in the drafting of legal opinions and contracts. She advises in relation to ordinary and extraordinary corporate transactions as well as to listing operations, public tender offers on behalf of issuers and underwriters. She also specialises in issues related to the regulation of the utilities and energy sectors, with particular reference to the electricity and gas area, advising leading domestic and foreign operators.

Partner Carlo Andrea is one of the founding partners of the Firm. Previously, he has been a partner of a leading law firm in Milan from September 2009, after having worked for eight years in a primary international law firm in Milan and, before that, having worked for ten years in a primary notary public firm in Milan. Carlo Andrea has extensive knowledge of corporate law and real estate, land development and urban planning matters, as well as real estate investment funds and renewable energy matters. Carlo Andrea also specialises in all corporate, notarial, cadastrial, land registry and urban planning topics connected to real estate transactions and related structures. He has considerable expertise in lease agreements, sale and leaseback arrangements and real estate security instruments. Chiara Perego
PartnerChiara specialises in corporate law and real estate, development projects as well renewable energy matters and real estate investment funds. Chiara’s expertise focuses also on public registry topics connected to real estate transactions and town planning matters, commercial and residential lease agreements, going concern lease agreements, deeds of contribution and security instruments.
Cristina Cavedon
Partner Cristina is a partner of the Corporate Department of the Firm since 2015 and assists in all aspects of corporate law, with particular reference to M&A transactions, both local and cross border, transfer of business, corporate restructuring and private equity transactions; she also advises in areas relating to banking and insurance regulatory compliance. Cristina also gained experience specializing in the field of civil and commercial agreements, both local and international,  in relation to litigation disputes as well as extrajudicial transactions. Between 2007 and 2008 Cristina worked for a law firm located in Verona, specializing in civil and commercial litigation. In 2009 she joined a primary international law firm in Milan, assisting in corporate law transactions.

Diego De Francesco
Diego De Francesco
Partner Diego has consolidated a relevant experience in the field of international taxation and cross border transactions, in relation to which he assists Corporate and Private clients. In particular, he specializes in M&A and Private Equity, assisting major investment funds operating in Italy. His  expertise  focuses on the structuring of investments, management  and monitoring, as well as divestments (exit). Diego specializes also on debt restructuring as well as corporate turnaround transactions.
Domenico Patruno
Partner Domenico, partner of the Firm, focuses his practice on banking and finance transactions (acquisition, real estate and corporate financing) as well as on M&A and private equity. He has an over ten years' experience in debt and equity transactions, advising national and international banks, financial institutions, investment funds and corporations. Prior to joining the Firm, he practiced at leading Italian and international law firms.      
Elisa Mapelli
Partner Elisa is partner of the Firm where she has been collaborating since its foundation. She is specialized in employment law, trade union matters and labour litigation. In particular, she assists and advices domestic and international companies in relation to all aspects of employment and self-employment relationships, including the hiring phase, remuneration and incentive plans, company welfare, disciplinary procedures, individual and collective dismissals, temporary and permanent lay-off procedures and, in general, termination of the relationship. Moreover, Elisa carries out the labour-related activities concerning M&A transactions and restructuring for domestic and international clients. She also advises in relation to issues connected to health and safety at work as well as independent/service contracts. Before joining Gitti and Partners, Elisa worked in the labour departments of primary Italian and international law firms based in Milan.  
Eugenio Mastropaolo
Counsel Eugenio started his professional activity with primary Italian international banks, then he started his private practice joining primary Italian and international law firms. Soon after he was nominated Head of Legal & Compliance of a primary payment institution. As a freelance consultant he advised Italian law firms and management consulting companies. Eugenio holds positions of responsible of controlling functions in outsourcing regime, member of supervisory body pursuant to Italian Law 231/2001 and director in corporate bodies. His expertise focuses on banking and financial law and in particular on financial instruments, investment services, payment services, traditional lending and fixed income transactions, internal controls systems, planning and controls execution, Italian Law 231/2001 organizational models and AML. Currently he teaches Economy Law and Banking Law at Pegaso Web University – Naples. Eugenio wrote numerous articles and essays and two books on “Investment Services” (2003) and “Controlling Functions” (2013).
Flavio Monfrini
Partner Flavio assists multinational companies in their Italian and cross-border operations, advising on a wide range of issues of corporate law, commercial law and regulatory issues. He has been involved in important merger and acquisition projects, and has assisted clients in a number of international transactions in the fields of renewable energy and life sciences.Flavio is also experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements of different kinds and has tackled complex matters involving delicate aspects of labor and insolvency law. Flavio has developed a strong sensitivity to compliance issues, fostered by his membership of compliance committees, especially within life sciences companies.
Francesca Bogoni
Partner Francesca is partner of the firm since 2023. Prior to joining Gitti and Partners, she was a partner for more than a decade in a leading Italian law firm. She has extensive and in-depth expertise in the Renewable Energy sector. She assists primary national and international clients in all phases of development, implementation and construction of investment projects, as well as in extraordinary and M&A transactions. In this context, she has assisted primary groups with reference to all types of contracts including asset sales and SPVs, complex joint venture and co-development agreements, investment agreements, contracting related to the sale of energy (power purchase agreements) and contracting of areas and works (EPC, supply, procurement and subcontracting contracts). In addition, she has gained significant and in-depth specialized experience in investment transactions - assisting both buyers and sellers - in the logistics and data center sectors.  
Francesca Andrea Cantone
Partner Francesca has a strong expertise in commercial and corporate law. She has been involved in major corporate reorganizations and assisted multinational companies in their reorganization and restructuring operations, including stock acquisitions, conversion of companies and mergers, asset liquidations and collective dismissals. Francesca is also experienced in contractual law and provides assistance to clients in drafting contracts and agreements in complex commercial relationships, including advices on regulatory matters. Francesca has also developed considerable experience in commercial and banking litigation. She regularly assists Italian and foreign banks in in disputes arising from their retail transactions concerning investment services, financial and banking products. Managing Partner He is name partner and managing partner of the Firm as well as one of its founders. He is professor of civil law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Milan and, in view of his academic role, has often received assignments as an independent lawyer, for advice and legal opinions pro veritate by major financial institutions, banks, insurance companies as well as public entities and independent and governmental authorities. Gregorio was involved in several privatization deals and he offers advice regarding commercial and civil law to leading banking and financial institutions and industrial groups, assisting them in significant transactions such as integrations and mergers. In recent years, Gregorio was able to acquire a particularly significant experience in the field of utilities, assisting some of the most important Italian multi-utilities, both in the context of mergers and acquisitions and in capital markets transactions.

Partner Jessica works in the Corporate Department of the Firm, where she collaborates since its foundation, and is specialized in M&A, private equity, corporate and commercial matters, which include support for day-to-day business needs, drafting and negotiating of civil and commercial agreements, corporate transactions, joint ventures/transfer of assets and businesses. Jessica has also developed expertise in legal aspects related to real estate transactions which involve the acquisition, management and disposal of both large and small real estate portfolios, as well as developiment transactions. Partner Marco is a litigator with significant experience in the areas of banking and capital markets law. Marco assists a number of major banks acting as issuers or distributors of banking and financial products and services on the Italian market. His practice is mainly focused on liabilities arising from financial instruments or banking and insurance products, as well as labor and agency disputes in the banking industry. Marco has also been involved in the negotiation of highly complex financing agreements and has advised financial intermediaries and credit institutions with respect to various commercial and regulatory matters, as well as to debt restructuring. She has also gained significant experience in the field of compliance, personal data protection and anti-corruption legislation, and guides her clients in legal matters in highly regulated areas. Paola mainly assists companies active in the healthcare and life sciences sectors (both in the pharmaceutical and med-tech fields), but also companies offering new technologies, renewable energy and advanced services that require sophisticated and innovative legal solutions. Paolo Iemma
Partner Paolo specialises in banking/financial/investment services, insurance and asset management business as well as in market abuse regulation. He provides advice and assistance to listed issuers in relation to their on-going duties, including disclosure requirements and treatment of price sensitive information. He also advises on regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering. He provides advice and assistance to fintech intermediaries in relation to the development of new business models and setting up plans. Paolo works on both customer and counterparty disputes, regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings in banking/financial/investment services and the insurance field and provides assistance in extraordinary transactions of regulated entities, particularly in the banking, financial and insurance field. Riccardo Sciaudone
Partner He is head of the competition law practice. He represents clients in proceedings (mergers, anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, State aid and abuse of economic dependence) before the European Commission and the Italian Competition Authority, as well as in litigation, both before Italian and European Union courts. He represents clients before the European Court of Human Rights. Riccardo also advises clients on regulatory matters, including national and European public procurement and data protection. He worked at the European Commission in the State Aid Directorate and then in EuropeAid dealing with international procurement. He has been a partner in leading Italian law firms in Brussels and Italy. Riccardo writes for prestigious international and national law journals and is co-founder of the European Law Observatory.

Valentina Compiani
Counsel Valentina's expertise focuses on both banking and finance and corporate law matters. Valentina started her career in a magic circle British law firm where she acquired significant expertise in loan transactions, also of a cross border nature, and debt restructuring. Vincenzo Armenio
