Mr. Birtane is a senior lawyer and the coordinator of the Istanbul office of Şengün & Partners Law Firm. He specialises in criminal law, commercial law, capital market law, factoring law and labour law. He provides legal advice and litigation services, mainly handling complex criminal cases related to financial crimes, commercial disputes, labour disputes, enforcement and bankruptcy law and capital markets.

He advises national and international companies in sectors such as automotive, media and entertainment, factoring, logistics, retail and land and maritime transport, with a particular focus on ro-ro transport.

Mr. Birtane worked in several leading law firms in Turkey immediately after graduating from university. He later joined Şengün & Partners Law Firm where he continues his career as a senior lawyer and coordinator of the Istanbul office. He is actively involved in commercial and criminal litigation, enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings, and capital market regulation. Batuhan Birtane has played an active role in the establishment and operation of industry associations, participated in legislative studies and provided training in numerous seminars.

Mr. Birtane specialises in criminal law with a focus on white collar crime, financial corruption, money laundering, smuggling and zoning offences.
