Maria has advised various financial institutions, incl. management companies, payment institutions, investment firms, and creditors. Maria has the experience of working in a BIG 4 law firm.

While working previously for the Financial Supervision Authority, Maria was engaged in issuing and revoking activity licences but also drafting precepts for financial institutions. Her duties also included drafting various decisions to grant or refuse authorisations related to prudential supervision. Maria also has experience in proceedings concerning the suitability of managers and owners and the acquisition of qualifying holdings.
