Gerard van der Wal (admitted to the bar in ‘77), former resident partner of Houthoff Buruma in Brussels, was appointed partner at Windt Le Grand Leeuwenburgh per 1 August 2016. He practices EU and competition law with extensive experience on state aid, IP and (free) trade matters, in particular in the luxury brands, agricultural and pharma sector.
