Neyla Rahal is a Counsel at Meysan Partners. She is a member of the firm’s corporate practice.

Neyla has more than 10 years of experience advising client on corporate and commercial law matters, banking and capital markets. She has worked on several domestic and cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments and has also represented companies in the restructuring of their business. She has also worked on private equity transactions, including the raising of funds from investors through private placements. She provides legal advice to clients in respect of their day-to-day business, including to banks and corporate clients.

•        Advising STC (Viva Kuwait) on its acquisition of a leading internet provider in Kuwait.

•        Advising Kuwait Finance and Investment Company (KFIC) on its purchase of 50% stake in Rice to Riches Inc, an American food and beverage company.

•        Advising an American multinational oil and gas company in the acquisition of a multi-billion-dollar stake in Mozambique LNG project.

•        Advising a Chinese retail conglomerate in the acquisition of a majority stake in a professional Italian football club based in Milan.

•        Advising a leading listed Italian bank on a multi-billion-euro capital increase.

•        Advising a leading French fashion group in the negotiation of a multi-million product partnership agreement.

•        Credit Suisse First Boston and Prudential Financial in the formation of The Strategic Real Estate Fund, a USD 400 million shari’ah-compliant fund targeted at U.S. and European commercial real estate projects
