Neyla Rahal is a Counsel at Meysan Partners. She is a member of the firm’s corporate practice.
Neyla has more than 10 years of experience advising client on corporate and commercial law matters, banking and capital markets. She has worked on several domestic and cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments and has also represented companies in the restructuring of their business. She has also worked on private equity transactions, including the raising of funds from investors through private placements. She provides legal advice to clients in respect of their day-to-day business, including to banks and corporate clients.
Key Representive Matters: Advising a leading digital healthcare platform of the region, with day-to-day corporate and regulatory advisory work, including review of agreements, ensuring client’s rights are protected, advising on regulatory requirements and compliance with laws applicable in Saudi Arabia. Assisting a Saudi-based holding company with their day-to-day corporate and regulatory advisory work, including review of agreements, ensuring client’s rights are protected, advising on regulatory requirements and compliance with laws applicable in Saudi Arabia. Advised a Saudi-based leading Quick Service Restaurant operator in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan on the structuring and implementation of various long-term incentive plans in compliance with Saudi capital markets regulations applicable to publicly-listed companies. Advised a subsidiary of the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), focused on public safety and smart mobility technologies, on drafting their standard general terms and conditions for client and customer agreements, and on the implementation of the new General Data Protection Regulations. Represented Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) in the sale of a 28.5% stake in Buruj Cooperative Company, navigating regulatory approvals and complex contractual arrangements. Advising Al Jammaz Group in the acquisition of a minority stake in Nahar Holding in Saudi Arabia. Advising Agility Logistics on the acquisition of Deqh Laboratories in Saudi Arabia. Advising Shuaiba Industrial in the acquisition of Aber in Saudi Arabia. Advising Ahmadiyah Contracting in their JV with AlKifah for the construction of the Avenues mall in AlKhobar. Advising Zain in the 85% acquisition of Xenon Prepaid (Bookeey) for a value of US$ 33 Million. Advising on numerous joint ventures, including for the establishment of hospitals in Saudi Arabia and for various construction and energy projects. Advising Kuwait Finance and Investment Company (KFIC) on its purchase of 50% stake in Rice to Riches Inc, an American food and beverage company.Languages
