Career

She started her professional career at a multidisciplinary legal practice, where she acquired experience in practically all branches of the law, and continued by working for several years as associate lawyer at a practice specialising in mercantile law. Founding partner of the firm Salinas Legal y Tributario S.L.P,, whose fundamental philosophy is to furnish global legal advice of maximum quality. Practising lawyer and adviser, she has specialised in the areas of insolvency, maritime, company, unfair competition and economic criminal law, directing procedures of great importance and complexity. She also holds different posts as insolvency practitioner, secretary of boards of directors or legal adviser to the same.

In 2011, as a founding partner, she embarked upon the project to create the new firm MA Abogados, made up of a group of practices desirous of creating a firm specialised in legal consultancy for medium and large companies, of national scope and international vocation. She has consolidated experience in commercial litigation, litigation in the areas of company law and arbitration, reconciliation and mediation. Expertise in extrajudicial negotiation and agreements, thanks to her working experience with insurers. She also possesses extensive experience in mercantile contracting, both Spanish and international, and company reorganisation. She has participated in large corporate transactions.

Member of the Bar Association of Valencia.Master’s in Maritime Law taught by the University-Business Foundation of Valencia (ADEIT).She is currently a member of the Spanish Maritime Law Association and of the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA), as a Spanish delegate to its international conferences.She belongs to the Maritime, Mercantile and Industrial Property Law section of the Bar Association of Valencia.
