Hélder Santos Correia has been focusing his professional activity on M&A and real estate matters.
Hélder has been providing legal advisory services to clients in the real estate sector, especially on cross-border and local transactions, including in mergers and acquisitions, forward purchasing, and sale and lease back operations.
He has further been advising clients on the implementation of real estate developments, leases (including triple net leases), and management of real estate assets across different activity sectors, in particular tourism and hospitality, health, retail, office, and residential sectors.
Career
Before joining RRP Advogados, Hélder worked at the Real Estate M&A department in the Lisbon office of Uría Menéndez, from 2013 to 2019.

The real estate arm of PLMJ, steered by Francisco Lino Dias and Teresa Madeira Afonso, delivers end-to-end solutions in the context of real estate transactions, including the asset deals and the disposal and acquisition of real estate portfolios. Lino Dias regularly assists developers and institutional investors with leasing agreements, build-to-rent models, and forward-funding ventures. Madeira Afonso, who joined in May 2023 from the firm’s M&A department, concentrates on corporate real estate deals and restructurings, servicing both national and international investment funds. Margarida Osório de Amorim, Sofia Gomes da Costa, and Rita Alarcão Júdice are no longer at the firm. Sérgio Teixeira, a key contact for investment funds, stands out at associate level for his involvement in real estate transactions involving domestic and international hotel groups, large retailers and real estate investors. Since publication, the firm incorporated RRP Advogados in July 2024, adding real estate partner Ricardo Reigada Pereira and a group of specialised lawyers, including Hélder Santos Correia and Tamara Martins da Fonseca.
