• pro bono provision of legal services in relation to issues connected with ownership relations, compensation for damage to health, divorce settlements, regulation of rights and obligations to minor children, protection of children during divorce, claims arising from invalid termination of employment, etc.

COVID-19 webpage:

Having our moral obligation in mind to assist in mitigating the effects of coronavirus pandemics on economic and social situation we created a special team of experts in 2020. The team comprising of attorneys, legal experts, tax advisors and IT specialists, has been since providing professional help to citizens, business partners and clients. The volume of such help represents more than 1000 hours.

Monitoring of adopted COVID-19 measures in sectors related to clients’ activities

Analyzing COVID-19 measures adopted by state in relation to activities of the clients, regular updates of the applicable legal regime and notification of clients, provision of model documents reflecting on adopted COVID-19 measures (free of charge).

Civic associations:

More than 90,000 euros provided by our business partners were managed and redistributed among 30 CSR projects (with support of our law firm in comprehensive management of two civic associations, communication with partners and implementers of partial processes, preparation for project audit, etc.). Our law firm has been providing systematic assistance in relation to (at first glance) smaller projects, however affecting a large number of target entities in terms of the scope of assistance as well as the funding provided.

Attorneys help initiative

SOUKENÍK – ŠTRPKA law firm is a co-author of #advokatipomahaju (attorneys help) initiative which provides support to a number of projects improving life Slovak public hit by COVID-19. The initiative was created in cooperation with Slovak bar association in response to rising COVID-19 pandemics in spring 2020 and offers platform for attorneys and law firms wishing to help those affected by COVID-19.

Until today, the initiative attorneys help initiated or supported various projects including donations of masks and respirators to hospitals and medical personnel, donation of devices for medical personnel, donations to families in need, donation of food to elderly home, provision of free legal advice in relation to COVID-19 associated issues and many more.
