Diversity

Capital Legal Services LLC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace environment. The CLS defines Diversity to mean the differences in culture, background and experiences that each person brings to the workplace, including differences in race, age, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, socio-economic background, sexual orientation, and expression, education, job responsibility and family status and the impact of these differences on individual performance as well as organizational culture, goals and effectiveness.

We value the differences of each person in the Firm, and respect the different ideas, thoughts, and perspectives each person brings to the Firm as a result of having diverse backgrounds, education, life experiences, and skills.

We believe that embracing these differences results in a more inclusive, positive and productive work atmosphere and enhances the Firm's ability to better serve its clients at different levels.

CLS's culture is grounded on the principals of excellence in quality, diversity and inclusiveness.

We have brought together at the firm lawyers of different backgrounds, skills, and experiences because we recognize that those individuals bring with them a diversity of ideas, approaches and perspective that enriches the CLS’s culture and enhances the quality of our work. For example, CLS has equal gender distribution among its administrative and legal staff. Furthermore, CLS is a unique law firm that employees with disabilities and one of the internationally famous visually impaired lawyers, Mr Elnur Eyvazov, currently, works at CLS as a Senior Associate. This example shows that we are committed not only to the diversity but also to social responsibility.

We are committed to fostering an environment in which diversity of every type can flourish and in which every lawyer is positioned to thrive and a client is positioned to benefit from this diverse and inclusive environment.

Finally, we also actively take part in pro bono projects. As part of our future initiatives, we will represent some disability organizations to fight discrimination against those with disabilities. We are also planning to organize free legal support to start-ups and young entrepreneurs operating in Azerbaijan.
