Ziad Chebli is a Lebanese national with a DES degree in Private Civil Law from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. Since beginning his legal career in 1996, Ziad has been dedicated to delivering insightful, innovative, and responsive legal counsel to financial institutions, insurance companies, and private corporations.

With nearly three decades of experience, Ziad serves as a trusted legal advisor and consultant, ensuring his clients remain in compliance with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks. His practice spans a wide range of sectors, including banking, capital markets, insurance, real estate and construction, commercial transactions, and intellectual property. He is well-versed in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution and has acted as an arbitrator in numerous local and regional disputes.

Ziad joined Hamdan Al Shamsi Lawyer & Legal Consultants in 2021 as Of Counsel and was later promoted to Partner in the Corporate Department. He advises a diverse portfolio of clients operating in the UAE, Lebanon, and internationally, with a focus on corporate structuring, tax-efficient transactions, and group reorganizations aimed at preserving earnings and minimizing exposure to dual or repeated taxation.
