Paralegal at Aceris Law LLC.

Marta is a Serbian national who holds a Master’s degree in International Law, Foreign Trade and International Relations from ISDE in Spain, a law degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and a degree in Finance and Banking from the Belgrade Banking Academy in Serbia. She speaks English, Serbian, Croatian and Spanish fluently and has a working knowledge of French and German.

During her studies, she participated in several moot courts and completed a Business Negotiations program at New York University in the United States.

Prior to joining Aceris, she worked as a trainee at JAP Lawyer, a boutique law firm in Barcelona.

Career

Aceris Law LLC - Paralegal

Under the direction and supervision of the founding partner, William Kirtley and Senior Associates, Marta works on various cases under ICC, SIAC, LCIA  and other rules of arbitration. Marta is involved in several construction arbitrations.

Aceris Law LLC - Trainee

As a trainee, Marta was involved in various cases under the ICC, SIAC, MIAC and ICSID rules under Swiss, Singapore, Indonesian, Montenegrin, Seychelles and Maldives law.

JAP Lawyer - Trainee

Worked in Spanish with international clients in real estate law. She was involved in large acquisitions in Catalonia, contract negotiations and due diligence.

GTO Consulting - Paralegal

Marta was focused primarily on Serbian Company and Business law, as well as on Compliance. She worked with international clients, mostly based in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Involved in negotiations and drafting contracts.
