Career

Mark heads the Property Litigation teams at Judge & Priestley and is a listed expert individual in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for his work for leading public sector landlords.

Mark’s experience covers a wide variety of cases including property disputes, commercial disputes, and professional negligence claims.

Mark has particular expertise in working with public sector landlords, on leasehold disputes, service charges and cases in the First-Tier and Upper-Tier Land Tribunals.

  • Leasehold litigation
  • Restrictive covenants, enforcement and removal/ amendment
  • Rights of way and other easements
  • Trespass and boundary disputes
  • Commercial lease renewals and dilapidations
  • Commercial contract disputes

Recent Highlights

Mark represented Camden Council in Lessees of Foundling Court and O’Donnell Court v London Borough of Camden and others  concerning S20 consultation, where there is a head lease.

Mark also represented the RTM(Right To Manage) in Francia Properties Ltd v Aristou, where the court considered the interaction of a freeholder s property rights and the interference with RTM management rights under CLARA 2002.
