Career

Zvika is the managing partner of Kennedys' office in Israel, and he is the head of the Israeli office property division and all non-personal injury related matters. He qualified in 1998 and is fluent in Hebrew and English.

Zvika is highly involved in all broad aspects of insurance legal fields. He acts for local and international insurers and reinsurers in all insurance aspects such as high volume subrogation claims, mechanical breakdown, energy, contractors’ all risks, financial lines, life sciences, casualty, professional liability, business interruption, product liability, fire and flooding damages, embezzlements, break-in and theft damages, jewellers block, coverage, monitoring and more.

Zvika also specialises in contracts law, commercial litigation and was involved in some pharmaceuticals class action litigations representing insurers and their insureds.

Zvika represents insurers and reinsurers in all Israeli courts' instances, in mediation proceedings as well as in local and international arbitrations in the framework of the ICC, LCIA and more.

Zvika’s represents multiple major Israeli insurance companies and leading corporations in the Israeli market, as well as international insurers and reinsurers.

Zvika is currently leading the largest insurance claim that was ever submitted in Israel on behalf of multiple insurance companies and reinsurers worldwide, in the total amount of $116,000,000, following a major fire that occurred at a chemical factory in 2015.

Zvika also represents insurers in major subrogation claim following insurance benefits that were paid to an Israeli power station following damages that occurred to gas turbines. The claim was submitted against the manufacturers of the turbines based upon the allegations of negligent design and latent defects. The scope of the damages that occurred due to the alleged negligent design and latent defects is approximately $80,000,000 out of which $30,000,000 were covered by insurers.
