Sejal Patel has been working in Employment Law since 2016 and has experienced a huge variety of circumstances and situations in her career.

Sejal commenced her training contract in June 2017 successfully qualifying in March 2019, going on to be Senior Associate in November 2023. Sejal has been described as “approachable, thorough and well organised” by her colleagues and impresses everyone she meets with her professional and enthusiastic manner.

Sejal has acted in cases before the Employment Appeals Tribunal and the Court of Appeal. In her role she provides honest advice as well as pragmatic support through each step of the tribunal process. She comments: “Whether you are an employer or an employee, I understand how stressful it can be when an issue arises in the workplace." From ACAS Early conciliation, right to the final hearing, she will always focus on clients' best interests to help them achieve their goals and to find a resolution. Sejal has extensive experience advising in all aspects of discrimination, with a particular passion for disability discrimination and has a successful record in advising both for Claimants and Respondents.

Sejal also works closely with the Commercial Team to provide Employment Law guidance for directors and business owners in the sale or purchase of businesses. This often involves drafting or advising on Contracts of Employment, Consultancy Agreements, Settlement Agreements and dealing with TUPE related issues.
