Position

Solicitor-advocate with extended rights of audience to appear in the Court of Session and the Supreme Court. Accredited by The Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in personal injury law and specialises in defending personal injury claims in both the Court of Session and in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. Advises some of the UK’s largest general insurers as well as local authorities, public sector bodies, loss adjusters and other insurance intermediaries. Main areas of expertise are employer’s liability, public liability, industrial disease, professional negligence and motor claims. Also experienced in health and safety law providing advice to clients on health and safety issues and representing companies and public bodies following criminal prosecution under health and safety legislation and at fatal accident inquiries.
