Position

Jennifer is a partner and, since 2012, Chairman of Ledingham Chalmers LLP.  Her role as Chairman involves strategic planning, governance, people and business development and client management.  Alongside that role, and as a Law Society of Scotland accredited construction specialist, Jennifer continues to provide legal support to businesses working in all areas of the construction and engineering sectors.  She has been principal construction law adviser on a number of projects for property developers, educational institutions, commercial clients procuring construction work and specialist sub-contractors, advising on pre-construction procurement issues, risk management during construction as well as dispute management and resolution.  That includes carrying out risk reviews, analysis and negotiation for construction and engineering contracts, as well as utilising her dispute management experience in litigation, arbitration and mediation.  Particular sector experience working with oil and gas contractors as well as in the traditional construction sector.
