Career
With over 20 years’ experience, in employment law, Francesca Lauro is counsel of our Italian employment practice and assists her clients – mostly multinational companies – operating in various sectors, including life sciences and health care, information technology, chemical and petrochemical, energy, financial institutions, industrial, and trade – in relation to all aspects of employment law. Also thanks to her past experience as in-house counsel of several major multinational companies, Francesca is able to combine her legal knowledge with suitable solutions tailored to the client’s needs and organization, with a practical and problem solving approach.
She deals with a variety of employment issues, both ordinary and extraordinary, including the drafting of the relevant contracts, collective agreements, policies, handbooks and codes of conduct, also with respect to the monitoring of employees’ internet use and whistleblowing, anti-discriminatory and anti-harassment, company’s welfare. She assists clients in implementing reorganisations, out-of court negotiations with employees and in Court proceedings.
Francesca has a wide experience on anti-discriminatory and anti-harassment laws, also assisting companies in carrying out preventive and defensive audit on the matter.
She is a member of the Association “Avvocati Giuslavoristi Italiani” (Italian Experts in Employment and Labour Law).
