Career
As senior counsel in the Hogan Lovells Real Estate team, Anita Zacharias has 20 years’ experience advising clients on a broad range of real estate and real estate finance transactions.
Anita is committed to navigating her clients through the transactional process from start to finish, adopting a hands-on approach with a premium on direct communication. Setting her phone and email to one side, Anita is often to be found arranging meetings with clients on site so that she can see first-hand the asset in respect of which she brings to bear her enthusiasm, experience, and industry knowledge.
Her loyalty and commitment to clients is mirrored by theirs to her. Many of her clients have been benefiting from her guidance and wise counsel for more years than she cares to recall.
Anita’s principal areas of focus are on the sale, disposal and active management of investment portfolios and on the acquisition and letting of super-prime Central London and City of London properties (both commercial and residential), the latter often to high net-worth (overseas) individuals. Real estate finance has also long been a particular interest of hers, where she provides a “one stop shop” service to the banking clients for whom she acts, dealing both with the financing and real estate aspects of the transaction.
