Career

Ghina acts on corporate transactions for both French and foreign financial services and insurance industry clients (banks, e-money and payment institutions, insurers, reinsurers and other regulated entities) and also provides non-transactional advice to these clients on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues relating to their operations in France.

Ghina was seconded for three months to the Hogan Lovells Insurance and Reinsurance team in London and has in-house counsel experience having spent eight months as a trainee with the marine claims management department of a leading international Paris-based insurance group. She also gained extensive experience in the financial services industry during a secondment to a leading credit institution involved in e-money services and online payment services.

Ghina studied law at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Masters in International law 2005, and post-graduate degree in International Private Law and Commercial International Law 2006) and at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (post-graduate degree in Insurance Law 2008). She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2010.
