As counsel in our Paris banking and finance team, Luc Bontoux’s practice involves advising sponsors/borrowers, as well as financial institutions, on cross-border acquisition and leveraged financings, syndicated loans, and general lending.
Luc joined Hogan Lovells in April 2018. He was previously an associate in the banking team of a Magic Circle firm in London for around four years (including a six-month secondment in the Beijing office). He then moved to the Paris banking team of a U.S. law firm where he spent four years.
He studied law, focusing on business, capital markets, and banking law, in France (universities of Lyon and Paris) and in the United Kingdom (BPP Law School – London).
He is registered as solicitor of England and Wales and avocat à la cour au barreau de Paris.
