Shantay Cong is a banking and finance counsel who qualified in Hong Kong. Shantay focuses on general banking, leveraged, real estate and acquisition finance, and restructuring, with a particular focus on cross-border financing transactions. Shantay has acted for Chinese borrowers, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors in extensive cross-border financing transactions. Having obtained law degrees in both Hong Kong and mainland China, and being a native Mandarin and fluent Cantonese speaker, Shantay has been involved in a large number of financing transactions involving mainland China element.
