Career
Caroline is a Senior Associate Solicitor at Lupton Fawcett LLP and is based in the firm’s York Office.
Caroline specialises in agricultural and rural property work where her work covers a wide range of matters including complex and high value sales and purchases, mortgaging agricultural land and buildings, advising upon and preparing agricultural tenancy agreements including the surrender of AHA tenancies, sporting rights, profits and dealing with easements, for example, cable easements for windfarms and easements for pipelines running across agricultural land. Caroline also has an extensive experience of commercial property and can deal with commercial purchases, sales and leases for farming clients including overage agreements, conditional contracts and options.
Caroline has acted for both large and small farming clients, large estate clients and also financial institutions.
Caroline is a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association and also sits on the Agricultural Law Association’s Committee for the Yorkshire region and is involved in organising the events for the Yorkshire region.
Caroline prides herself in getting the best outcome for her clients and takes a commercial and pragmatic approach where possible.
