Donna is an experienced child protection lawyer, having qualified as a solicitor in 2005. Donna was made partner in 2023.

Donna specialises in the following:-

Public law children cases, including those involving non-accidental injury and sexual abuse Applications for placement orders, and discharge of placement orders Applications for adoption orders Applications for deprivation of liberty under the Inherent Jurisdiction Applications under Section 8 of the Children Act, particularly those in which the child is separately represented Wardship proceedings.

Donna has been a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel for over 10 years.

Donna studied Law at Cardiff University and completed her LPC qualification (pass with distinction) at UWE, Bristol. She trained in Bristol and moved to Lyons Davidson in 2014.

Donna is committed to providing an excellent service for her clients.  She is recognised for her calm approach and skilful and persuasive advocacy. Her focus is always on the best interests of her clients which are often young vulnerable people who she is able to engage with her approachable and sensitive manner.
